We had issues with blocked drains on a Friday Afternoon. Total plumbing was recommended to us on a community website. We called Shane and he was very helpful. He came out to us within the hour and unblocked the drains. He showed us the inside of the drains with the camera so we could see exactly what was going on. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to anyone with plumbing requirements

Originally we used Shane and the team from Total Plumbing for an issue with our hot water service. Over the phone Shane worked out the cause of the problem and had someone onsite within a couple of hours and the job was done as quoted.Not long after my mother in-law started to experienced some water leaks due to old pipes and the water line from the meter needing to be replaced. The team were fantastic! It was a big job, done well and with care, cleaned up after themselves and completed in a day.The follow up by Shane afterwards was also appreciated.

Shane was awesome to deal with. Not only did he arrive within 15mins to inspect the issue, he was able to tell me that he could come then very next day to unblock our pipes. He knew my daughter was having a birthday party and I had 10 kids coming...Shane arrived at 9am and was done within the hour which gave me heaps of time to clean up before the part started. They installed a new Hot Water Service. It was done first thing in the morning, so we had hot water in a few hours. We were kept informed of what the installer was going 2 do. When the job was completed he checked that everything was working, cleaned up and took away the old unit.Very happy with the whole experience and will definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Shane and his team responded quickly - we’re in Caroline Springs. They arrived within 30 mins, and within a couple hours had found the problem, replaced the broken pipe (underground at front yard tap), installed a new outdoor tap and tidied up! Friendly crew. Good systems to alert you on arrival times. Shane had previously replaced our hot water service too. Highly recommend Total Plumbing.

Our 15 yr old hot water tank had to be relit three days running so it was time to replace it. The tank sat in a narrow side yard, blocking access, so we decided to go to a small instant flow system instead. I phoned Reece Plumbing who gave me Shane’s number. Shane arrived in less than an hour to give me a quote and scheduled the work for the following day. Baylee arrived on time to do the work and was very courteous and efficient. We are loving our instant hot water and very appreciative of the painless transition and the space that has been provided in the side yard.

Our gas metre got changed and when that was done the installer couldn't get the hot water heater back on and just left us to it.Total plumbing and gas came to the rescue and although William tried really hard to fix a part of the heater that wouldn't have been broken if the gas metre hadn't been changed, we ended up having to get a new unit.A rotten experience was made easier because of William's care and concern.

Shane has come to my home 3 times. Once he replaced our hot water service, second time he changed the plumbing for a bathroom renovation and third was for water meter and tap repair. Great service from Shane and 2 of plumbers Will and Dean.They were polite, punctual, did a great job and reasonably priced.For 4 hours work we were charged $800.00 to install 2 toilets, a pressure valve to the water meter and to relocate a garden tap. A quote from a larger plumbing company for the same work was about $6500.00. We would have no hesitation recommending Total Plumbing.

Our hot water service broke last night. Messaged Shane early this morning, had a call back within half an hour and Luke arrived on my doorstep within the hour. Amazing service!!Luke had a couple of access issues but wasn't worried. Shane is an Aussie legend, like Bathurst and Vegemite. Shane came out on a SUNDAY morning with 10 minutes notice. The job involved fashioning a set of fittings and a length of copper pipe, to return our water back to normal. I have never even heard of a plumber that would jump in his truck and rush anywhere to to fix a leak, let alone on a Sunday.

We needed a plumber ASAP because our Aquamax hot water system was no longer working. Rang around the local area & received a few phone quotes. I got lots of very expensive quotes !!!! Then I read the reviews about Total Plumbing & Gasfitting. I called and spoke to Shane. I advised him of the problem and also of the expensive quotes I had received . He did give me a quote over the phone but did also offer to come and have a look at the hot water system that was no working before we went out to purchase a new one that he was going to install. He did specify that there would be no fee for his attendance. Shane came out and had a look and saved us $1080. All that needed to be done to the unit was to change a part. He was honest and did not rip us off . Would recommend him to friends & family.

Contacted Shane this morning about a problem with my hot water system. He told me on the spot what the problem was and how much to fix. He said I have 2 options repair old or buy new system. I elected to go with new unit since mine was 16yrs old. His apprentice Deon came to fit new system within 2hrs and his workmanship is 2nd to none. Could not have found a better plumber if I tried. We needed our old oven taken out and replaced with a new one. I called Shane from Total Plumbing. His prices were so good, I didn't bother calling anyone else. Shane arrived on time and was very personable, something you don't often get with tradesmen. He was really knowledgeable and wasn't in a rush. He takes pride in his work and is passionate about what he does. He even had a look at our shower heads and taps and didn't charge any extra.There should be a rating for personality because I would rate Shane 10 out of 10. He was happy to have a chat and made us laugh. Good all round top bloke.If you are reading these reviews thinking they have been composed by friends or people personally known to Shane, I can assure you they are not.I only had my oven installed yesterday and have already told friends and family about a great plumber. Super amazing and awesome team who didn't hesitate to help me out with my blocked drains of doom. Very polite crew (both on the phone and in person), and so much cheaper than others; even though they included a jet clean and camera of the pipes - which were considered an 'extra fee' service by some of the others that I contacted.The pipes were unblocked within... 45mins(?) and the cause was identified (hello, invasive tree root!).
